Giving the circumstances of a patient’s medical condition & his insurance I rate it a 8. I worked in convalescence when I was taking my nursing courses…it takes a certain heart to care for the mental and medical non insured. As I approached this facility, it was very pleasant and staff was very helpful,, they had medical boards for daily routines … when I approached the room of my friend, it appeared to be a 12 x 14 room with 3 pp in it, it was clean but yet with an odor and nats were flying around him as he laid paralyzed, I noticed his mouth was full and had no nurse button to push for a spit tray or cup.. I assisted him with a cup, but wondered why he didn’t have a nurse line, I spoke to the staff and let them know my concerns
